Evo, Los Angeles' newest condominium is ready to change the face of downtown's condominium scene. 
The question is: Is Los Angeles ready? This isn't just your average condo building, this is a green condo. Poised to receive a silver rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program (LEED) Evo will offer its residents 24 stories of eco friendly design.
Will this environmentally conscious living space be enough of an enticement to lure buyers into the turbulent market to buy? We'll see, but with the clock ticking on the city council's commitment to greener buildings it is just a matter of time before green becomes the new black. Until then we will see what kind of greeting the Evo building located at 1155 S. Grand Street receives from Los Angeles.
