Recently, a friend gave me the greatest gift. And I have to be honest, while the gift was wonderful, even more moving to me was the thought, time and effort that went into the giving of the gift. It meant so much to me. I have found myself thinking the last few days about giving and how powerful it is.
As a result, I made a decision to give another friend a special gift, as a way to pay it forward. I am having so much fun planning my gift. I hope that it will be as meaningful to her as my gift was to me. And maybe just maybe she will pay it forward as well. Perhaps that is the greatest gift, to be inspired to give.

That is wonderful, you cant give love to another with out also spreading it on yourself
Hi Coco, you must be a very special friend. Those special gifts, and friends, are treasures.
These are intrinsic and please from within. Truthfully those are the best gifts to give and receive. All others are fleshy and temporary.
I like to give little gifts. Sometimes I will see some cute little thing (mainly in the clearance aisle) but something so perfect. Like the little coffee shaped thumbtacks I saw for $1 and give to my friend/co-worker who loves coffee. It can be a little selfish but I like to make people happy either with a little trinket, a smile to a stranger, or listening to someone's vacation story for the fourth time.
