How Hard Would You Work?

If someone from the future could visit you and tell you that this year, 2008, would be your break through year, how would that make you feel?  What if they told you that this is year you are going to take the steps that will lead to all of your goals and dreams coming true?  The only catch is that you will have to work really diligently; but in doing so you will overcome your greatest obstacles.  How excited would you be? How hard would you work?  What would you be willing to do if you knew you were going to be successful?

There is a trick to this question.  It's a little bit like the chicken and the egg.  If there is action that you would take if you knew you would be successful then doesn't it make sense that you are more likely to be successful if you take that action?  Are you planning to be successful? Then why not take action as if someone had looked into a crystal ball and promised it to you?  What do you have to loose?

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Patience, persistence & hard work pay off.

Why wait?  I know what I need to do.  I just need to get off my butt and do it.

And, I AM.

Thanks, Coco. I will wake up every morning and happily tell myself "This is my breakthrough year" - I know this will help me make wiser choices when planning my daily activities.

Just last Friday I came to the office and told my friends/co-workers that I was showing property on Saturday morning.... I just didn't know yet with WHOM, but I was looking forward to making calls and finding out. After just one hour of phone calls - you guessed it - I had an appointment to show property on Saturday morning!

Visualize then pursue...

 Thanks for the post!

Coco - That is an interesting way of looking at things! Thank you for the thoughts... sure makes you want to put out your all doesn't it?

It's difficult to argue with your salient point but it can be easy to let this important concept become tarnished by frustration, routine and the sentinels of insecurity. Thanks for the reminder.
