Mentoring

I believe in mentoring.  Having a mentor or coach is something almost anyone can benefit from.  Of course, it's important to have the right mentor.  The proper mentor is someone you respect, someone what has proven expertise in the arena in which you are striving to succeed. Having a mentor helps you to have clearly defined, achievable, measurable goals.

More important than anything else a mentor provides built in accountability.  If you have to be accountable for taking steps to accomplish a goal you are much more likely to succeed.  Human nature being what it is, it's much harder to face someone you respect and tell them you didn't get something done than it is to actually do it.  Whatever "it" is.

If there is an area in your life that you are struggling with, or simply want to get "to the next level" consider getting a mentor.  If you are enjoying the fruits of your labors, consider passing it on to someone up and coming.  Mentoring, on both sides can be very rewarding.

Mentoring is incredibly important. Some of the greatest strides personally and professionally have been the result of mentoring in my life.  I am very grateful for good mentors and strive to be a mentor to others as well.

I agree, menoring is extremely important. I have always had a mentor who has helped me achieve great success by keeping me accountable to my goal plans.

I cannot agree more.  Had it not been for reaching out and finding my own group of mentors, I would never have achieved the success and most importantly the ability to stay in this industry as a full time agent  even when times are difficult.
